Ph. D. in Economics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), M.A. (econ) in Development Economics at the University of Manchester (GB) and First Degree in Economics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Research fellow at the Environmental Economics Unit (UPV/EHU), financed by the Environmental Agency of the Basque Government between 2002 and 2010, and lecturer at the Department of Applied Economics III (Econometrics and Statistics) since 2010. Visiting researcher in 2009 at Queen's University Belfast (GB).



Main area of reserch concerns the economic valuation of environmental and natural resources. Associate researcher at EKOPOL (Research Group on Ecological Economics and Political Ecology), BC3 (Basque Centre on Climate Change) and HEGOA (Development and International Cooperation Studies Institute). Member of the scientific advisory board of the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development and Environmental Education of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU.
