I am a permanent working professor at the UPV/EHU Faculty of Economics and Business in the Gipuzkoa section in Donostia-San Sebastian since 1999. I am a member of the Department of Financial Economics II and the Hegoa Institute of Development Studies and International Cooperation (UPV/EHU).
My teaching work focuses on subjects linked to the decisions of Business Management and Marketing Policies of the organizations, and students' Final of Degree Projects and practices. Regarding my research work, I am a Doctor of Economics from the University of the Basque Country - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU). I develop my research work in the field of Agroecology and food systems, from a perspective of Participatory Action Research and Feminism. My main lines of research are: the analysis of social transformation processes and collective action and the generation of mechanisms and tools to facilitate the analysis of agroecological processes and projects (e.g. indicators systems, participatory guarantee schemes, systematisation of processes). The transfer of this research activity is reflected in scientific contributions, local and international research projects and social partnerships with agricultural unions, the Basque Ecologica Agriculture Regulatory Council (ENEEK), Olatukoop and various local entities. I am a member of the coordination team of the Biolur association.
