Gurutze Ezkurdia Arteaga, PhD in Pedagogy, Professor of Theory and Education History at the Faculty of Education of Bilbao. Research lines and publications on: curriculum, textbooks and sociocultural context in the construction of identities, as well as on educational historical heritage. She has published several biographies of teachers and professors of the University School of Teaching of Bilbao, as well as articles and books about the genesis and development of women's organizations, especially EAB. Guest lecturer at the University of Cauca (Colombia); Director of a Cooperation Project for the implementation of an educational project of linguistic-cultural immersion of nasayuwe, in the Nasa Community in Toez Caloto (Colombia). Member of Garaian, Group of Historical and Comparative Studies in Education (G.V. no IT 603-13), and the Museum of Education of the UPV/EHU. Director of Basque And Teaching Innovation at the Campus of Bizkaia (2006-2009), Director of the U.S. of Teaching of Bilbao, Dean of the Faculty of Education of Bilbao (2009-2018).
