Graduate in Pedagogy (1984) from the University of Deusto and Doctor of Education CC (2005) by the UPV / EHU with the qualification of Outstanding “Cum laude” unanimously. She has been a professor at the UPV / EHU since 1991. She has taught in Psychopedagogy, Pedagogy and Social Education. Member of the Spanish Society for the study of Anxiety and Stress of the UCM, of the Research Group in Psycho-Pedagogical Orientation of the UB (GROP) and of the Scientific Committee of the I International Congress of Emotional Education, Positive Psychology and Welfare. He has participated in training activities aimed at education professionals organized by the Department of Education, Universities and Research of the G.V. and by the Department of Innovation for the Knowledge Society of the DFG. In the latter, she has participated as principal investigator in the Education Area of the “Guipúzcoa: Towards an emotionally intelligent society” project sponsored by the Department of Innovation for the Knowledge Society of the DFG. His line of research: Design, Intervention and Evaluation of Emotional Education Programs in socio-educational contexts. He has made numerous contributions in congresses and published articles in national and international journals such as Interuniversity Journal of Teacher Training, Anxiety and Stress, Infocop Online, Edupsykhé, ... He has a six-year term recognized by the CNEAI.
