I received a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Deusto in 2010, and an Msc in Computer Science with a major in Major in distributed computing from the University of the Basque Country in 2011. In June 2015 I received my PhD in Computer Science from the University of the Basque Country with dissertation entitled “Contributions to the Efficient Use of General Purpose Coprocessors: Kernel Density Estimation as Case Study“. As part of my PhD work, in 2014, I did a 3 month internship at the Advanced Processor Technologies (APT) research group, University of Manchester.
From 2015 to 2017 I was a Research Associate at the MORElab research group of the University of Deusto and in 2017, at the same time, I was an Msc Thesis advisor for the International University of La Rioja (UNIR). From 2017 to 2019 I was a Research Software Engineer at the Data Innovation Research Institute of Cardiff University.
Since September 2019 I am faculty at the School of Engineering in Bilbao. My research interests are Parallel & Distributed computing, High Performance Computing and Big Data.
