She finished her studies in Telecommunications Engineering at the UPV/EHU in 2007. After receiving a predoctoral scholarship from the Basque Government, she completed a Master's Degree in Information Technologies and Communications in Mobile Networks at the UPV/EHU (2010). Later she obtained his doctorate in the doctorate program of the same name (2013). After five years of postdoctoral research experience, she is currently an associate teacher at the Department of Applied Mathematics of the Bilbao Faculty of Engineering.
She is a member of the Signal Processing and Radio Communication (TSR) research group since 2005. Her main lines of research are the impact of wind turbines on communication systems, and new communication technologies for smart grids.
The impact of her research work is reflected in 21 publications in international journals (JCR) in the period 2011-2019, two books, a book chapter, more than 40 contributions to international conferences and 6 scientific dissemination publications. She has participated in 17 projects funded in competitive calls at the regional, state and European level, with a total funding of more than 1 million euros. Simultaneously, she has worked in direct relation with the private sector, participating in 17 projects for wind farm promoters and broadcasting/radar operators. She has been co-supervisor of a doctoral thesis, and currently supervises two other PhD students.
