Luis M. Naya is professor of comparative education at the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. He has authored many publications and is editor of books such as El derecho a la educación en un mundo globalizado [The right to education in a globalised world] (San Sebastián: Erein, 2006), La Educación y los Derechos Humanos [Education and human rights] (San Sebastián: Erein, 2005), and La infancia en la historia: Espacios y representaciones [Childhood in history: spaces and representations] (San Sebastián: Erein, 2005).
