I am a plant ecophysiologist, widely interested in understanding how the secondary metabolism of plants (mainly isoprenoids) interacts with their environment. Doctorate with European Mention (Cum laude and Extraordinary Special Doctorate Award) (2005-2009) Postdoctoral stage: UPV / EHU (2010-2013), CSIC (2013-2016, JAE-Doctor), UPV / EHU (2016-2019 , Juan de la Cierva) and BC3 (2019). I have published 42 manuscripts, 9 book chapters, H Index: 21. 86 presentations at national and international conferences. 33 research projects, 5 being the principal investigator. Experience in national and international institutions: the University of La Laguna, Forschungszentrum Jülich, the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, the University of Minnesota and the National Research Council of Italy. I am a member of the EuroCaroten COST action network. Reviewer in more than 19 high impact magazines. Frontiers in Plant Science Guest Associate Editor. Teaching / supervision of 2 post-doctorates, 4 doctoral students, 2 visiting doctoral students, 19 master's students, 12 end-of-degree projects and tutor of 5 work placements. Director of 2 summer courses at the Public University of Navarra and UPV / EHU. I am currently an Adjunct Professor and I have taught in 7 grades. I actively participate in outreach.
