Ibon Saratxaga received the Telecommunication Engineering degree from the University of the Basque Country, in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication Engineering, in 2012.
He has been a Researcher with the Aholab Signal Processing Laboratory, University of the Basque Country, since 2005. Currently, he is associate professor at the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao where he teaches several courses related with computer networks and speech processing both in degree and master levels.
His research interests include speech synthesis, automatic speaker recognition & antispoofing and machine listenign, specially sound quality analysis, with a focus on the application of machine learning to these areas. He has published more than 30 papers in journals and conferences, and he has taken part in more than 30 research projects, being principal researcher in 7 of them.
