PhD and Tenured Professor at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. I teach Medical Psychology and Drug Dependence at the Medical School as well as Master Courses in the programs of Neuroscience, Pharmacology, and Palliative Care. My research interests are Psychometry and Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis. Regarding Psychometry my interest is in the assessment of patient-reported outcomes using either classical psychometry (reliability, validity) or item response theory. Regarding Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis. I run the Cochrane Associated Center of the Basque Country, and my interests are the assessment of efficacy and safety of antidepressants and also of non-pharmacological treatments in health problems.
