Doctor in Psychology from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and expert in Sexology from the University of Alcalá de Henares. Full Professor of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of the Basque Country. He has three six-year research periods. He is a the PI of the consolidated research group "Culture, Cognition and Emotion" funded by the Basque Government; within this group, she is also the coordinator of the team that develops research on attachment and family relationships and adult and adolescents, with special emphasis on processes of emotional regulation and well-being, and taking into account gender and cross-cultural perspectives. He has supervised 8 doctoral theses and 4 postdoctoral contracts, as well as several research projects financed by different organizations. She is a regular evaluator of calls for national and European projects. She regularly collaborates national and internationally with research centers. She has written more than a hundred of publications, including book chapters and scientific articles (over 50 in JCR indexed journals). She has been secretary of the European Association for Psychological Assessment and Associate Editor of the International European Journal of Psychological Assessment, and Member of the editorial committee of the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships. She is currently a member of the Editorial Committees of the International Journal of Behavioral Developement, and EAPA Book Series.
