Professor of the Department of Language and Literature Didactics at the Faculty of Education and Sports.
He has taught, especially in Children's Literature, in the Diplomas of Teaching since 1984 and in the Psycodidacatics master since 1998. He has been Vice-Rector of the UPV / EHU (2012-2016), Director of the Teaching School of Vitoria-Gasteiz (2000-2007) and Dean of the Faculty of Education and Sports (2018-2019) among other institutional positions.
Editor and reviewer of several magazines (ANILIJ, OCNOS, Ikara, El profesional de la informacion, ...), author of several dozen scientific articles and more than a hundred popular articles about, mainly, Basque children's literature.
He has participated in several congresses as a member of the scientific committee (32nd International IBBY Congress, V International Reading and Heritage Seminar, UCLM, II International Conference on Criticism and Research in Children and Youth Literature, etc.) and as a speaker.
