I have a degree in Physics from the University of La Laguna, in Tenerife, where I specialized in Astrophysics. Afterwards, I completed the Master in Space Science and Technology of the UPV/EHU while starting my doctoral studies as a member of the Planetary Sciences Group. After my doctorate I worked for two years at Paris as a postdoctoral researcher of the French National Center of Spatial Studies at the Pierre and Marie Curie University.
Currently, I am a assistant professor in the Department of Applied Physics I of the School of Engineering of Bilbao of the UPV/EHU. But when I am not teaching, I continue to study the dynamics of terrestrial planets' atmospheres, especially the origin of the super-rotation of Venus' atmosphere and the formation and evolution of its polar vortices.
