Academic information: PhD in Industrial Engineering from the UPV / EHU. He is senior lecturer at the University College of Engineering of Gipuzkoa, in Donostia-San Sebastián, at the Department of Graphic Expression and Engineering Projects.
Teaching: He has taught in his area of knowledge in engineering degrees, in the Master of Embedded Systems Engineering, and in the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education. It also provides training workshops on active methodologies for university teachers and secondary education.
Research: Member of the Physics, Technology and Mathematics Education Research Group. He has published more than 25 articles and book chapters. Research topics are focused on the teaching of engineering and technology: Development of activity programs and the evaluation of their impact on teaching, interpretation of industrial plans, teaching concepts, or the integration in teaching of active teaching methodologies, such as Problem or Project Based Learning, and teacher training in such methods.
Management: He has been Director of Students and External Relations of the University College of Engineering, Director of Methodological Innovation of the UPV / EHU, General Secretary of the UPV / EHU, and Coordinator of the Educational Advisory Service in the Campus of Gipuzkoa.
