Degree in Biological Sciences (1994) and PhD (2010) in Epidemiology and Public Health from the UPV / EHU. During the years 2009-2011, she worked as a researcher at the Clinical Epidemiology Unit of Cruces Hospital. During the years 2011-2013, she worked as a project manager at the Basque Foundation for Health Innovation and Research (Bioef). Since 2014, she is an associate professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, teaching the subjects of Biostatistics and Introduction to Biomedical Research. She also teaches in the Master of Public Health of the UPV / EHU.
She is coauthor of 12 articles and a book chapter. She has made contributions in 12 national and international conferences.
Her research has focused mainly on projects related to biomarkers in the general population: heavy metals, organochlorine pollutants and pesticides.
