Exchange students: ERASMUS+

1. Nomination by home institution (Home institution Erasmus+ coordinator sends nominees information to Erasmus+ coordinator at the relevant faculty of the University of the Basque Country

  • Full name, date of birth, passport number, genre, student´s email

2. Document submission (by nominated student)

  • Learning Agreement
  • Deadlines (unless otherwise stated by the Erasmus coordinator of your faculty/school)
    • June 30 for August-September arrivals
    • November 30 for January-February arrivals

3.  Online application 

After official nomination, students will receive an invitation to apply through the Student Mobility Management System (online application guidelines)

4. Check the courses available at your faculty

5. Request a buddy

  •     A local student will help you settle during your first days
  •     Proofread your contact details and arrival date before submitting your form
  •     As we email you with contact details of your BUDDY, please do answer to him/her
  •     Should your visit be cancelled, please inform us; your assigned BUDDY will be able to help someone else
  •     Priority has been set for non-Spanish natives

6. Documents to be handed out upon arrival

  • Copy of your passport or ID
  • Proof of Travel Insurance: With unlimited coverage in transport to home country in case of accident or illness and repatriation in case of decease. It is compulsory, even for visitors travelling with a EU health card
  • Photocopy of your enrolment form at your home university
  • 3 photos
  • University of the Basque Country enrolment form -   (doc, 120 Kb)
