Dr. Paula Andrade

Paula Andrade studied Chemistry at the UPV-EHU (2011-2017). Since then, she has been involved in research tasks and has performed her undegraduate Thesis (TFG-2017) in the group of Prof. Claudio Palomo under the supervision of Prof. Ganboa. Later on, she performed the Master Thesis (TFM-2019) under the supervision of Dr. Jon M. Matxain and Dr. A. Correa working in the field of peptide chemistry. In September 2019, she started the PhD under the supervision of the latter researchers funded by the project RTI2018-093721-B-I00 and the Donostia International Physics Center. In March 2023 she got her PhD and next she has joined the group as a postdoc researcher. Her studies combine both experimental and computational studies to delevop novel sustainable C–H functionalization reactions for the late-stage diversification of oligopeptides of high structural complexity.

Carlota Girón

After defending the Master Thesis in the course of 2022-2023, in October 2023 Carlota Girón began her Doctoral Thesis under the supervision of Dr. Correa funded by the project IT1741-22. Since January 2024 Carlota is funded by an FPU contract (FPU22/00522).

In November 2023, Ivan Pérez has started his Thesis under the supervision of Dr. Correa with an FPI contract (PRE2022-104190) associated with the project PID2021-122889NB-I00.

Constantinos has joined the group within the ITN network AiRPaDD coordinated by Prof. Gómez-Bengoa. He is doing his PhD as a Marie Curie fellow under the supervision of Prof. Gómez-Bengoa and Dr. Correa in collaboration with AstraZeneca.

Ibon Sasiain undertook his Final Project (BSc) in 2022-23 under the supervision of Dr. Correa funded by an Ikasiker scholarship. In the course 2023-2024 he remains in the group to perform his Master Thesis.
