The graduation ceremony for the 5th cohort of the ECT+ ONE HEALTH Erasmus Mundus Master’s programme took place on 24 July at the Plentzia Marine Station (PiE) of the University of the Basque Country (EHU). Students defended their master’s theses on research topics related to environmental contamination, ecotoxicology, environmental health, emerging contaminants and bioremediation. The closing ceremony featured a lecture by Professor Inna Sokolova, Chair of Marine Biology at the University of Rostock, entitled “Integrating Bioenergetics to Reveal the Cumulative Effects of Multiple Stressors on Marine Organisms.” During the graduation ceremony, Fernando Plazaola, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and Laurent Lanceleur, ECT+ ONE HEALTH coordinator at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA), presented the diplomas to the graduates.
