Master in Environmental Agrobiology

The need to increase crop productivity, food security, and assess adverse impact of climate change or contamination of soil, water and air are some of the most important challenges that society faces today. To address such scenarios, it is essential to have the necessary capabilities, scientific advances and professionals specialized in these areas. The Inter-university Master's Degree in Environmental Agrobiology is an official postgraduate Master with the participation of the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV / EHU) and the Public University of Navarra / Nafarroako Unibertsitate Publikoa (UPNA / NUP) and other prestigious research institutions.

The main objective is to train the students in academic, professional and research matters in the areas of Agriculture and Environment. Students are required to complete and present a Master´s Final Project (MFP) at the end of the academic year.  The MFP is an specialized research work carry out in the UPV / EHU, the UPNA / NUP and collaborating entities, and tutored by University professors and highly qualified researchers.

With the competences acquired in this Master, the students are trained to undertake other professional activities in environmental aspects of the agricultural and environmental areas, or they can start a more advanced training in research techniques and activities to obtaining the Ph Degree. In this regard, the Master in Environmental Agrobiology offers a direct access to the Doctoral Program in Environmental Agrobiology.
