The European Researchers' Night

The European Researchers' Night is one of Europe's largest science outreach events.
The event is held in more than 370 cities on the continent and is funded by the European Commission under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) -an initiative to promote scientific careers in Europe-, which is part of Horizon Europe, the European Union's Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.

The UPV/EHU is organising this initiative in the context of the European project G9- SCIENCE4ALL, promoted by the 9 Group of Universities (G-9): Cantabria, Castilla la Mancha, Extremadura, Illes Balears, Navarra, Oviedo, Basque Country and Zaragoza with the collaboration of the University of La Rioja.

The TSR Lab has participated in the editions of years 2020 and 2022. And it will participate in the 2024 edition as well, next 27th September 2024 in Bilbao.

All of the fairs take place in the morning, with Bilbao being the final and most important one. It is open to students and non-students who have participated in other fairs. Awards include trips to foreign science fairs and stays at research centers.

In the 2025 edition, the Bilbao fair will be the only one with evaluators. At the others, students will present their work to passersby, and there will be no prize winners, although some prizes will be drawn among all participants.

It will be held in Paseo del Arenal (Bilbao) in 28-31 May 2025 dates.

Some TSR Lab members participate in this edition as evaluators.
