Dr. Rezabal carried out her PhD from 2003 to 2007 under the guidance of Prof. J.M. Ugalde, in the Theoretical Chemistry group of the UPV/EHU (Spain). Afterwards she was a postdoc researcher in different european labs, the group of Prof. Max C. Holthausen (Frankfurt University, Germany) (2008-2011), the NanoBioSeparations group of POLYMAT (UPV/EHU), leaded by Prof. Thomas Schäfer (2011-2013) and the Laboratoire de Chimie Moléculaire in Ècole Polytechnique de Palaiseau, France (2013-2015). In 2015, she got an Assistant Professor position in the Physical Chemistry department at EHU/UPV,moving in 2018 to the Polimers and Advanced Materials Department, to work in the Theoretical Chemistry group at EHU/UPV and Donostia International Physics Center, where she investigates the properties of ILs and deep eutectic solvents and the design of TM-based anticancer prodrugs, by means of DFT, classical and first principles MD and topological and bond analysis techniques.
