Degree and PhD in Computer Science from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) with the thesis “E-learning y la calibración de ítems de test: Teoría de Respuesta al Ítem versus calibración basada en juicios de expertos. Un estudio empírico “(2010), co-directed by Tomás Antonio Pérez Fernández and Julián Gutiérrez Serrano.

She was member of the Management Teams of the Computer Science Faculty (as Academic Secretary, 2003-2008) and of Summer Courses of the UPV/EHU (UIK) (as Secretary of ICTs, 2010-2015). Secretariat of ICTs within the Management Team of the. Currently, she is member of the University Commission of Teacher Evaluation (CUED/IEUB) (starting at 2016). Since 1991 she has taught at the Faculty of Computer Science and also at the Faculty of Engineering of Gipuzkoa, in Basque, Spanish and English.

She is the author of several research and teaching publications (including open material and OCW), mostly in the field of elearning, integration of ICTs and active methodologies.

Presently, she is the main coordinator of DIMAROVE: “Specialized Group of Educational Innovation in Teaching in Computer Engineering using Active Methodologies based on Online Resources, Cross Valuations and project management in Spiral”, group that is accredited as edIKDit Structured Teaching Team 2018.
