Are you an international student interested in completing your practicum placement in Bilbao? The PractInComing (PAIC) programme at the Faculty of Education of Bilbao supports incoming mobility students (Erasmus+, SICUE and other exchange agreements) who wish to undertake their Practicum in educational institutions or social organisations in our local community.

Placement Opportunities

We offer supervised placements in two degree programmes at our faculty:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education: Placements in schools with children aged 3 to 6.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education: Placements in schools with children aged 6 to 12.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Education: Placements in institutions, NGOs and social intervention projects.

Academic and Language Requirements

1. Be enrolled at a university with a valid mobility agreement with the University of the Basque Country (EHU).
2. Languages: placements may be carried out in English in the case of Early Childhood and Primary Education, and in Spanish (with supervision in English) in the case of Social Education.
3. Provide a criminal record certificate for sexual offences (mandatory for working with minors).

Application Process

1. Nomination: Your home university must officially nominate you through the International Relations Office.

2. PAIC Registration: Once your nomination has been accepted, you must complete the practicum application form indicating your preferences and placement period.
3. Learning Agreement: Coordinate with the Practicum Vice-Dean’s Office to sign the Learning Agreement.
