About

Amaia Landaburu is a lecturer (quatrilingual profile) in the Department of Journalism at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/ EHU). She holds a PhD from the University of Malaga with International Mention. She also has a degree in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Master's degree in research in Journalism from the University of Malaga. In the course of her predoctoral research, she carried out two research stays, at the MICA Center (EA4426) of the Bordeaux-Montaigne University, (France, 2017) and at the CCMG Centre at Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi (India, 2016).

She currently teaches in the Department of Journalism undergraduate subjects related to journalistic writing (Genres of information, Web news content creation and reporting) and documentation (Managing Documentary Sources).

As a researcher, she has authored and co-authored several scientific articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals indexed in databases such as SJR-Scopus, Dialnet Metrics, FECYT Spain, CIRC and others. She has also presented communications at international conferences, as well as participated in research projects.
