BSc in Economics (1985) from the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU), MBA (1989) from the University of Deusto and PhD in Economics (1992) from the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU). Arthur Andersen Prize (1986). She is Professor of Applied Economics at the Department of Applied Economics I of the UPV / EHU, teaching at the Bilbao campus. His teaching activity is focused on the Degree in Business Administration and Management and the following Postgraduate Degrees: Master in Business Management from Innovation and Internationalization, Master in Globalization and Development and Master in Development and Cooperation.

He has directed the Research Group Governance and Marketing for Sustainability (group A of the Basque university system) and 5 doctoral theses (3 international and 5 extraordinary doctoral awards). She has been a visiting professor at the University of Oxford and has participated in 50 research projects, with 25 being the main researcher.

She is co-author of 122 scientific articles, more than 30 books and book chapters and 113 contributions in national and international conferences. She has 4 sexenios recognized by the CNEAI. His research focuses on sustainable development, networking, governance and innovation.
