Josu Arteche is full professor in Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science at the University of London since 1998. Author of more than 30 research articles in prestigious international journals of high impact (Journal of Econometrics, Econometric Theory, Econometric Reviews, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Time Series Analysis, ...),. Principal Investigator of several projects within the National R & D Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, continuously from 2003. Three doctoral theses supervised and two others in realization. Responsible for the Postgraduate Course (Master and Doctorate) in Economics: Instruments of Economic Analysis, offered by the Universities of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU), Oviedo and Cantabria from its creation to 2009 and the Doctorate in Economics: Instruments of Economic Analysis, with Mention Towards Excellence, from 2013 to 2018. Member of the Scientific Committee of several scientific organizations. Member of the international scientific society ERCIM. Member of the Editorial Board of the UPV/EHU. Director of the Economy and Business Series published by the Editorial Service of the UPV/EHU. Associate editor of the journals "Statistical Modeling$ from 2018 and "Econometrics and Statistics" from 2020.
