Degree in Biology (1986) and Doctor of Science (Biological Section, 1994) from the UPV/EHU. In 1997 she obtained a position of Professor of University in the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UPV/EHU. Currently teaches Microbiology at the Pharmacy, Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Food Science and Technology degrees. She participates as a lecturer in the Masters in Microbiology and Health and Innovative Oenology. She collaborates in the management of the centre as Teaching Coordinator of the 2nd course on Human Nutrition and Dietetics and as a member of the Faculty Board. In 1988 until 2004 she was part of the group of Antimicrobial Resistance chaired by Dr. Ramón Cisterna participating in several research projects (10 being the main researcher in 2), articles (15 in national journals and 8 in international journals) and communications to congresses (38, being 23 national and 15 international). Since 2017, it has participated in a Research Group on Teaching Innovation called Idofar (ADITUAK recognition) from which it has derived its latest publications (3 communications to national congresses, 2 international and an article in a national magazine).
