Vicente Núñez-Antón holds a MS and a Ph.D. in Statistics (The University of Iowa, USA). He has been principal investigator (PI) for research grants funded from the University of the Basque Country, the Basque Government and the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. He is one of the members of the High Performance Research Group at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. He has been evaluator for different journals in the area, national and international research grant calls, and has given invited talks and seminars at well recognized and prestigious meetings in the area, as well as in several Spanish and foreign universities. He has published several books, as well as several papers in most of the recognized journals in the area such as, for example, Biometrics, Statistics in Medicine, Test, Statistical Methods in Medical Research, Biostatistics and Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference. He is the editor of the journal Statistical Modelling, has also been Associate Editor for the Journals Applied Statistics, Statistical Modelling, and Methodology: European Journal of Research Methods for the Behavioral and Social Sciences, and has participated in the scientific committees of several international meetings in the area. He has been invited to give seminars, courses and invited conferences related to his areas of research at different universities and international meetings.
