Degree (1989) and PhD (1996) in Chemistry from the UPV/EHU, where she has been a teacher since 2003. Department Academic Secretary (2004-2008/ 2012-2016), Department Section Coordinator (2008-2012/2013-2021) and Department Director (21-01-2021-). Postdoctoral stay (Marie Curie contract) at the Università degli Studi di Milano (1996-1998, Prof. C. Genari) and constant research activity ever since. Uninterrupted teaching activity for the last 16 years (Basque, Spanish and English) in Bachelor/Degree in Chemistry, Doctorate Programme in Advanced Studies in Fundamental and Applied Organic Chemistry and Master in Synthetic and Industrial Chemistry. She has supervised more than 50 research projects (DEAs, TFGs, TFMs, collaboration grants, PRAKTIGES and university-company contracts). Her teaching and research work has been positively evaluated (ANECA, UNIQUAL, DOCENTZIA). Four six-year research periods (CNEA). Member of the “Chemical Synthesis and Asymmetric Catalysis” research group. She has cosupervised 8 doctoral theses (4 with international mention and 1 with Extraordinary Award), another two in progress. Participation as a researcher in more than 60 research projects and 4 university-company contracts (OTRI). Coauthor of more than 40 publications in the first quartile. Her current research activity focuses on the area of Organic Synthesis, more specifically on asymmetric catalysis and the development of stereoselective reactions through the design of new substrates
