Cover Feature in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces
Our recent work has been featured on the cover of Volume 18, Issue 4 (2026) of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.
The article, “Analyzing the Relationship between Solid-Phase Molecular Presentation and Cell Proliferation, Morphology and Secretion Using CellStudio”, developed within our group (including Enrique Azuaje-Hualde), introduces CellStudio, a platform to investigate how the spatial presentation of biomolecular cues on surfaces regulates cell behavior.
The cover artwork visually captures a precisely engineered cellular microenvironment, where solid-phase signals guide cell proliferation, morphology, and secretion—illustrating the core concept of the study.
This recognition highlights the group’s strength at the interface of functional biomaterials, microengineering, and cell-based systems.
👏 Congratulations to the whole team!
