Associate professor of the University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU. Recognized as Profesor Pleno (equivalent to Full Professor) by Unibasq (2018). Telecommunication Engineer (Radiocommunications), teaching and research in the UPV/EHU since 2002, after 4 years of professional experience in Telecommunications. Member of the Communications Engineering Deparment. Lecturer in the Degree and Master of Telecommunications Engineering. My subjects: Signal Processing, Communications Theory and Biomedical Signal Processing. Three recognized research periods of 6 years (2021). Researcher of the Group of Signal and Communications (GSC), excellent (A category) by the Basque Government. My research interest is signal processing in the context of cardiac arrest and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Co-director of 2 international doctoral theses (1 awarded as extraordinary). Co-author of more than 50 papers, more than 30 in JCR journals Q1, Q2; One European patent; Principal investigator (collaborator) in 6 (14) institutional research projects and in 3 (4) contracts with companies. Regular attendance and contributions to international conferences (> 50 contributions). Close collaboration with Osatu S. Coop. (Mondragon Corporation) for technology transfer and with Osakidetza (Basque Country Health Services). Member of the PhD programme in Electronics and Telecommunications of the UPV/EHU, Telecommunications team, research line Digital Processing of Biomedical and Electrical Signals.
