Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of the Basque Country in 2005 and PhD in Chemical Engineering (UPV / EHU, 2010) obtaining the Extraordinary Doctorate Award.
My professional activity has always been developed at the UPV / EHU. In 2003 I joined the research group PROCAT-VARES of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the UPV, where I did my Doctoral Thesis. From 2010 to the present I have combined the research and teaching activity, teaching at the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Environment of the EUITI of Bilbao (2013/2014), Chemical Engineering department of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Vitoria (2017/1018 and 2018/2019) and in the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the UPV (2015/2016, 2016/2017) where I currently teach classes.
My research activity has focused on the development of thermo-catalytic processes for the valorization of refinery waste streams and consumer society waste, such as tires and plastics, through the sustainable production of automotive fuels and high added value products. I am co-author of 22 publications in prestigious indexed international journals (301 citations, h index of 11) and I have more than 50 contributions to congresses.
