ACADEMIC:
Industrial Engineer in Materials Engineering by the École Centrale Nantes ECN (France) in 2002.
Doctor in Engineering by the Mondragon University MU in 2009 with a research period at The Ohio State University (USA) of 10 months in 2006. Working as a Professor/Researcher at the UPV/EHU since 2008.
RESEARCH:
Is part of EMERG.es research group funded by the UPV/EHU. Author of 15 indexed papers on the Materials Science field and participant in more than 35 international and national conferences.
Participant in more than 30 research projects funded by international, national and regional governments being the main researcher in 7 of them.
His research focuses on the study of materials processing to optimize them and improve the quality of the final products. Characterization of the microstructure of materials at the micro and nano-scale and the experimental measurement of physical-chemical and mechanical properties of materials.
