Koro de la Caba has given the plenary lecture ‘Chitin and chitosan for health-related applications: extraction, characterisation and processing’ at the 16th International Conference on Chitin and Chitosan, held in Hermosillo (Mexico).

The International Federation of Chitin and Chitosan Societies has hold the 16th International Conference on Chitin and Chitosan, a joint meeting with the 9th Iberoamerican Chitin Symposium, on 26–29 October in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
