PhD (Industrial Chemistry, UPV/EHU) in 1991, granted by Basque Government and Spanish Ministry for Education and Science. I got a Permanent Position at the Dept. Chemical Engineering, Fac. Science and Technology (ZTF-FCT), in charge of subjects in different Degrees, Doctorates and Masters, National and International. I am co-author of the book Cinética Química Aplicada (Applied Chemical Kinetics) published by Síntesis.
Member of the Research Group Chemical Technologies for Environmental Sustainability (TQSA), focused on development of heterogeneous catalysts for reducing environmental impact of Industrial Chemical Processes and on Environmental Health, with an applied view, I have collaborateded in more than 70 projects and contracts with Industries and Public Administrations, both national and international, and have published in the best journals of the field (4 positive six-year CNEAI research periods), patents and industrial prototypes, and communicated in specialized, mostly international congresses.
At university management, I am a member of Economic Commission and Faculty Board (ZTF-FCT), and the Academic Secretary of the Institute for Process Research and Development (IIDP) since 2009. Besides, I am the Secretary of the Basque Section of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ) since 2012, and the Dean of the Official Association of Chemists and Chemical Engineers of the Basque Country, Burgos and La Rioja (COQIQ) since 2015.
