He is a Ph.D. in Telecommunications since 2011. Prior to joining the University, from October 1993 to June 1994, he had an scholarship in the R & D department of Fagor Electrodomésticos, S.Coop. In September 1994 he joined Robotiker (current Tecnalia Research & Innovation Foundation), until October 1995. From October 1995 to October 2003 he belonged to different R & D departments of different divisions of Ericsson, working two full years in Sweden. From 1999 to 2003 he was Associate Professor at the University of Deusto, ESIDE faculty within the Telecommunications department. In 2003 he joined as a Lecturer (accredited by the ANECA in 2003) with full dedication to the UPV / EHU in the area of Electronic Technology. He was also co-founder and Technical Manager of Trelec BTC S.L.L. He is currently Associate Professor of the Electronic Technology Department of the UPV-EHU.
