Graduated (1992) and PhD (1997) in Chemical Sciences from the University of the Basque Country. Extraordinary doctorate prize. University professor since 1994 in the Faculty of Science and Technology of the UPV / EHU. Her teaching activity is focused on the grade of Chemistry and the Master of New Materials. Her research work began in the study of transition metal phosphates with spectroscopic and magnetic properties, evolving towards the design of composites with applications as electrode materials for batteries. This work has had the funding of 25 projects of Ministry, Basque Government and University. The result of this work are the 38 articles published in international journals (23 Q1) and more than 50 communications to congresses. She has directed two doctoral theses (2009 and 2014), six master's projects and two end-of-grade projects. She has been part of the Euskera Commission (1999 - 2012) and the Equality Commission of the Faculty (2009 - 2011).
