Board of the faculty
This is the supreme governing and administrative body of the faculty and its decisions are binding on its other bodies and members. It is also collegiate in its nature, so that its members include representatives, in the form and proportions stipulated by the university's charter and the faculty regulations, of the different groups of which they faculty is made up. The functions of the board of the faculty include electing the dean and approving the essential outlines of its general academic policy. These decisions are, as pointed out above, binding on the other faculty bodies and its members.
