March 2024: Visit of Jan Strelinger from the University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia) to the Faculty of Economics and Business (Elcano and San Sebastian) through the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility Program (PDI).

During the week 18-25 of march Jan Strelinger participated at the teacher´s mobility at the Faculty of Economy and Business (UPV/EHU) in Elcano and San Sebastian.

Before his stay he was in a close contact with professor Ana Bilbao Goyoaga and professor Eva Velasco Balmaseda who invited him to hold a lecture on the topics which he suggested and. He appreciated our common communication and he was grateful for our warm welcome and interest in having him.

On Tuesday we had the first meeting and we discussed the topics he had prepared and professor Ana Bilbao Goyoga gave him interesting information about the studies and study-programmes and showed him around the university.

On Wednesday at 10 o´clock he had a lecture on the topic Clashes at a Workplace, conflicts and how to solve them. He appreciated participation of not only basque students of business, but also foreign students, not only from Europe, but also from the United States, and their interest and questions given to him on the spoken subject. Feedback was very positive.

The next day on Thursday morning he travelled to San Sebastian where he was invited by the professor Anjel Errasti with whom he also communicated the topic for his lecture which was Circular Economy. Students were interested even came in a smaller number than in Bilbao, but they also found the topic motivational and actual for them.

At the end of his brief report he said that his stay in Bilbao and San Sebastian, meeting with foreign students, warm welcoming and friendly relationship with the teachers gave him a very precious experience and he would personally recommend all of his colleagues to take part in such a motivational and challenging stay.
