At the present:
Doctor in Social Communication (2014) and Master in Models and Areas of Social Science Research (2011) by the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU). Telecommunications Engineer by the UPV / EHU (1998) and sociologist by the UNED (2009). He has been a professor at the UPV / EHU and is currently a member of the IkasGura research group, and a researcher in the Department of Theory and History of Education. He has also been a visiting researcher at the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of Porto, Merrimack College and Harvard University.
He is the author of the book "Party & Borroka: Jóvenes, músicas y conflictos en Euskal Herria [Youth, music and conflicts in the Basque Country]" (Txalaparta, 2016) and 15 other individual and collective works in the field of communication, culture, youth, new technologies and social movements. He is currently also participating in two research projects about new solidarities and emerging forms of citizenship among social movements.
