Student Association Network

The Erasmus Student Network is the largest student association in Europe, with over 530 sections in 42 countries. In the Basque Country, the ESN is present in Bilbao and San Sebastián.

The ESN is made up of students acting voluntarily under the principle ‘Students Helping Students’, to help international students settle into their new home and make the most of their stay.

The ESN organises:

  • Recreational and cultural activities
  • Trips and excursions
  • Contact between local and international students
  • It works to promote intercultural understanding and the learning of different customs and habits, always with an open and respectful attitude
