Accommodation

This section provides resources and information to help you find accommodation for your stay, including student halls of residence, apartments, community-minded accommodation and homestays with local families.

Please note that, as in many other places in Europe, the rental market in our cities is shrinking and prices are rising.  This has become a major problem for both visitors and residents alike. Our advice is to try to find somewhere to stay well in advance of your arrival, and to visit the apartment in person as soon as you arrive, before paying a deposit or signing a contract.

If you are unable to find accommodation before you arrive, you can always try to book a hostel or guesthouse for the first few weeks and then look for a more permanent option once you are here.
