The Directorate of Sustainable Development and Social Commitment is a strategic unit of our university, dedicated to the promotion of a responsible, equitable and inclusive development model. Our mission is to promote environmental, social and economic sustainability in the university community and society in general, integrating academic knowledge with concrete actions that generate positive impact.

We work on the formulation and implementation of policies, programmes and projects aimed at environmental protection, university social responsibility and community outreach. Through educational initiatives, applied research and strategic alliances, we seek to promote sustainable practices and strengthen the social commitment of our institution.

Our main objectives include the incorporation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in teaching and university management, the reduction of the institution's ecological footprint, the promotion of equity and social inclusion, as well as the consolidation of a culture of solidarity and civic responsibility.

From the Directorate, we invite students, teachers and PTGAS staff to join our actions and build together a more sustainable university committed to its environment. We believe that knowledge must be at the service of society and that, by working together, we can contribute to the present and future wellbeing of our society.
