Master Degree in Control Engineering, Automation and Robotics

The master's degree in Control Engineering, Automation and Robotics provides advanced education for the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of automatic systems. These specialists are in high demand for monitoring, control and management of productive processes where high performance is required relative to energy saving, pollution reduction or efficiency and safety. This scientific and technological field, in continuous evolution and progress, also demands the training of young researchers who are able to face the new industrial challenges and to work in R & D departments.

The proposed Master's degree has two main objectives. The first objective is to complement the studies of the current Engineering Degrees, so as to achieve the advanced knowledge required in in the field of automation and control systems.

The second objective is to serve as bridge towards doctoral theses in the field of control engineering, automation and robotics. The target are those who wish to complete a research career in the University, research centers or Industry with activity in automation and control, engineering for the development of automation and control projects. These researchers will acquire advance knowledge to complete successfully and in the shortest possible time a doctor thesis in Systems Engineering and Automation.

Master Degree in Advanced Electronic Systems

There is no doubt that Electronics addresses the study of one of the pillars for the Society of Knowledge. The semiconductor devices are essential in the physical supports that transmit the electrical or optical signals, the information. Therefore, training professionals in electronic systems, as well as research in this subject is of the utmost interest.

This master offers an update in the design of digital circuits, exploiting the most advanced technologies. Starting from basic knowledge of Digital Electronics, to building systems oriented to real applications. The common threat to the Master is the latest generation of computer tools and electronic devices.

Two specialties are offered, which focus respectively on communication and control applications.
