The mail goal of this Project is the research on the most advanced security and privacy means in order to apply them to the new standards of domotic and industrial network. These standards will be implemented soon in our domestic, industrial and institutional buildings and premises. The approach proposed in this project is based on the newest digital system design techniques. Thanks to these methodologies, we have been able to offer viable solutions, both technically and economically, that can deal with the strict constraints of the ciphering and authentication systems. Specifically, the addition of security and privacy mechanisms into the following two standards: Ethernet and KNX/EIB.
