I studied Technical (2003/2006) and Superior Engineering (2006/2008) in Computer Science, I carried out PhD program in Distributed Systems (2008/2010) and I received the title International Doctor in Computer Science (2016), all of them in the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
When it comes to research experience, I am a member of the research group ALgorithms, DAta mining and PArallelism (ALDAPA) in the department of Architecture and Technology of Computers (UPV/EHU). Research areas: data mining, big data, machine learning, clustering, cluster validity, anomaly detection, intrusion detection systems, web mining, web personalization, user profiling, accessibility, web interaction, eHealth, intelligent analysis of biomedical data, federated learning.
As regards teaching experience, I have been professor of the department of Informatics Languages and Systems (UPV/EHU) during 4 years: Faculty of Computer Science of Donostia/San Sebastián (2018/2019) and School of Engineering of Bilbao (2017/2018, 2019/2021). Since 2021, I am Associate Proffesor in the Faculty of Computer Science of Donostia/San Sebastián as a member of Architecture and Technology of Computers (UPV/EHU) department.
