BSc in Chemistry specialized in Macromolecules and PhD in the New Materials and Process Engineering program (Extraordinary Doctorate Award), both from the UPV/EHU, where she is Full Professor. She is the head of BIOMAT research group (www.ehu.eus/biomat), group A of the Basque university system. Her lines of research are focused on the development of new products based on renewable and biodegradable materials.
