PhD candidate in Linguistics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She obtained her qualification as a Spanish Language and Communication Teacher in 2014; a BA in Hispanic Language and Literature in 2014; and an MA in Applied Linguistics in 2017. All degrees were awarded by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV, Chile).
She has researched child language acquisition and development in typical and atypical populations (SLI/DLD) through cross-sectional and longitudinal studies with children aged 3 to 10, addressing multimodality, narrative complexity, syntax, dialectal variation, and orthography. She currently studies the development of the syntactic-gestural unit in childhood and the relationship with caregivers’ multimodal input.
