Biography

I hold a Ph.D. in drug development, specialized in the development of nanocarriers for gene therapy applications, from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in the Neuroethology Laboratory at the Veracruzana University, Mexico, and my Master of Science degree in the Technological Pharmaceutical Laboratory at the University of the Basque Country, Spain. My research interests are the development of biosensors and microfluidic technology applied to medical technology. My research is currently carried out in the Microfluidics Cluster UPV/EHU group at the University of the Basque Country, Spain.

Research

Throughout the years Edilberto has acquired experience in non-viral nanocarriers development for gene therapy application. However, he is looking forward to applying his previous knowledge for the development of novel portable biosensors devices.
