Biography
Juncal Alonso is originally from Bilbao. She studied Biochemistry at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Currently, she is doing her Master Degree in Forensic Analysis at the UPV/EHU. Her Master Research Work deals with the detection and characterization of cholesterol in blood through alginate capsules integrated with titanium oxide particles.
Research
Juncal will develop new sensing materials for cholesterol detection and their integration within microfluidic devices.
